Our students have taken part in a campaign to promote a healthier and more active lifestyle


These are some samples of the things we've worked:


Due to the Covid-19 precautions schools are closed from the date 16th November 2020 same as all around the World. At the beginning of the Academic year 2020-2021 students of Final Schools have the chance to meet their friends and teachers face to face. After the first wave of Covid-19 disease children under 18 have a big need for doing sports and exercise so our P.E. teacher Basak Yeniceri organized an exercise early in the morning at our school garden ‘’Morning Sport”. She continues her exercises during online lessons. She also explains the benefits of sport on children’s physical and mental development. During her online lessons some of the parents also participated her fun and energetic lessons . Here are some photos and videos of these exercises and notes from her lessons.


Some of the many benefits of sport participation for children include:

  • reduced risk of obesity

  • increased cardiovascular fitness

  • healthy growth of bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons

  • improved coordination and balance

  • a greater ability to physically relax and, therefore, avoid the complications of chronic muscular tension (such as headache or back ache)

  • improved sleep

  • mental health benefits, such as greater confidence

  • improved social skills

  • improved personal skills, including cooperation and leadership.

Sports Videos At School: 


In December all activities were implemented in the contex of distance education due to CoViD-19 pandemic. We colaborated with the organization "The Tipping Point",which runs the web platform "100mentors" and provides schoolchildren with teleconferences with scientists on topics of their choice.

Our choice was Mrs Natassa Messini, an experienced dietician & physical education teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. She is specialized in eating disorders, wellness coaching, curriculum development, traning and sports.

We discussed about the huge importance of proper nutrition and exercise in our lives. A very interesting discussion took place between Mrs Messini and our team and we all came to the conclusion that what we eat, how much we exercise is reflected in our body,in our health and this should be our priority, while we should not forget that our body is unique, we are unique and we must respect and love ourselves.


Since 12 th October we have been teaching online. During online PE lessons our students have discussed the benefits of exercising, doing sports and practising healthy lifestyle. Regular exercise is very important, especially in this time of pandemic, when students spend most of their time sitting at the computer.

Some of the many benefits of sport participation for teenagers include: 

  • We won´t be fat and will have better immunity

  • Sport is a part of a healthy lifestyle

  • One of the reasons is that the physical, but also mental side will improve

  • Exercise is healthy for the body, after exercise a person feels better than sitting at the TV,

  • You breathe better and you have more energy for other activities.

  • For better body, in order to eat more and not gain weight. 

  • I think we should exercise because it´s good for our health and everyone needs to relax somehow

  • Because exercise is important for keeping ourselves fit

  • In order to feel better and have healthier lifestyle
